The origins of Marsden Conservative Club lie in the year 1865 when a group of likeminded gentlemen got together for the general election. They met in public houses or each others homes until in 1907 they built and moved into the existing building.
The Club supports several local organisations and is a good venue to hold a meeting.
Situated in the centre of the picturesque Pennine Village of Marsden the Club provides comfortable surroundings and convivial atmosphere and provides a central meeting place for several local groups. We always welcome visitors and new members and try to provide a wide range of events and entertainments.
Anyone over the age of 18 can apply for membership. Forms are available from the bar. Two current member sponsors are required along with Committee approval. Subscriptions are at present £5 per annum.
